My Story

Born between worlds.
Built between industries.

I grew up between worlds. Berlin-Reinickendorf, to be exact — about as suburban as it gets. Taiwanese mother, Burmese father. The permanent feeling of not fully belonging anywhere turned out to be the best professional training I ever got.

I never wanted to work in marketing. I thought it was for people who were good at selling things nobody needed. Then I discovered what happens when you believe in the product. Suddenly it's not marketing anymore. It's just the truth, louder. Looking back, I'd always been connecting worlds — I just didn't have a word for it yet.

Twelve years in, I've held senior marketing roles across the music industry, most recently as Senior Marketing Director at Deutsche Grammophon / Universal Music. I helped bring Neoclassical — Max Richter, Ludovico Einaudi, Joep Beving — into the mainstream in Germany, and brought classical music into clubs through the Yellow Lounge. Audiences who came for the bar and stayed for the Beethoven. That's my favourite kind of surprise.

I love music across all genres. Pop, opera, hip-hop, EDM, classical — I've never understood why you'd pick one. Good music doesn't care about categories, and neither do I.

I'm also a mother — which the music industry treats as a liability. I treat it as the reason I started asking better questions. Three months after my daughter was born, the world shut down. What we lost wasn't just concerts and jobs — it was the rooms where industry parents could see each other. So I co-founded Music Family Hub to build them back.

Today I work as Ambassador for AT8 Entertainment, connecting Berlin's Asian creative community, and advise artists directly through my Horizon Discovery model — helping them find where they stand, and what comes next.

Two things have always driven me: music and the people it belongs to. Everything I do lives at that intersection.

I've been connecting worlds since before I knew that was the job.
